Quotea nice dinner and some drinks, maybe a little dancing before I even CONSIDER spooning with you again.

No kiss?

"What's wrong with a kiss, boy? Hmm? Why not start her off with a nice kiss? You don't have to go leaping straight for the clitoris [spooning] like a bull at a gate. Give her [him] a kiss, boy."

Live hardy, or go home.

Yes. Good. Nibbling the earlobe, uhh, kneading the buttocks, and so on and so forth. So, we have all these possibilities before we stampede towards the clitoris, Watson.

Hey Ray,

How much did you pay for the new chain rubbing block, and where did you get it?  I noticed when I did my wheel change that mine was gone.  Bike Bandit wants $165 for it.  OUCH!!!!

Sorry Craig, been away from the puter for a few days. I'm sure I only paid $65.00 for the rubbing block from the local Yammie place here. Theres also a Japanese guy I get some bits in from as well, VERY cheap and proper new parts too. My mate said Yam wanted $360.00 for a new GTS1000 mirror assembly, guy in Japan had one delivered to me for $170.00. Can't beat it!.

This is the site in Japan you can try  http://jp-parts.com/ .  Very good service, excellent pricing.

No problems mate. I found the easiest way to get prices etc from JP-Parts was to get the actual Yam part number, fill in the quote order form, and they get back pretty quickly with price/delivery/availablity etc.  :good2:

So Ray,

How you lovin that new rear wheel?  I got to take my bike out for a 150 mile spin the other day and man, what a difference.  Best thing I ever did to my FJ.

I wish I could get out more to really ride it. I still have the half worn tyre on the back that came with the rim, so should be even better when a nice new tyre goes on. What I did like was the rim had virtually the same spoke pattern, same colour, got lucky.

OK, as promised, here is the GSXR wheel mod instruction manual.  Keep in mind that this is using a 1990 GSXR wheel installed on a 1990 FJ1200.  I also have this in PDF format.  Need a copy, PM me and I'll send it off to you

I want to thank everyone that provided information to make this manual possible.  To many to mention, but you know who you are.  :hi:

Thanks,

Magnificent!

Take the pdf and stick it over in the files, easier yet.

You are welcome.  Amazing what you can do with Publisher, some pics and a little elbow grease.  Now we hope to never see anyone ask about this again.  As I know that you senior modders are getting tired of answering the same questions over and over again.

I am, however, grateful for all the info I got from you guys to do this mod and making the whole thing possible.   A tip of the hat to all of you :hi:

Cheers,

You've got too much time on your hands, Nicely done  :good2:

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

Hey Craig,

The brake master cylinder - did that fit exactly where the original FJ one sits?

Bill.
Sold it!

craigo

I kept the FJ master on my wheel mod.  The GSXR brake line bolted right up to it.
