Any info on these would be great. Just looking for some way to tie the FJ down to my rail trailer. Seems like no mater what I run straps to for the tie downs, it ends up rubbing or marking something. These were recommended by a friend of mine who track races, for bikes that are fairing tie down impaired. Don't know how I would feel about anything on my throttle tube. I have tied down many a dirt bike but they don't weigh 600lbs and are ALLREADY scratched up. Please no lectures about trailering to ride, just don't want that 5+ hrs of straight line slab from here in Utah to ride with my buddies in So Cal. I know IF I was a real man......  Thanks guys.  :unknown:
It's what you hold in your heart that's important, not what's in your hand, well, unless it the THROTTLE!!

I've used canyon dancers to good effect for years, on many different bikes.  The only down-side is that they tend to 'hike-up' the grips.  A minor annoyance....

Never had an issue with them otherwise.  I have never tried Cycle Cynch.

Good Luck.

Live hardy, or go home.

i use the canyon dancer but modified its use somewhat (of course)  i actually Cut 2" PVC tubes slightly shorter than the grips and capped them.

i then slide the tubes into the canyon dancer grip loops then over the grips.... this puts the stress and bunching on the PVC instead of the grips/throttle tube.

KOokaloo!

Excellent idea, Frank. I tried the Canyon Dancer and it definitely caused the throttle tube to bind. These days, I use soft ties over the lower triple clamp.

I use the canyon dancer and rarely have trouble with the grips. The trick seems to be to pull the straps tight before attaching the tie downs.

I understand that you can break helibars with them, but no issue on the stock setups.
