Damn, Eric.

My wife had herself a small stroke last summer - very small, fortunately.  She claims there is a bit more of a memory problem since then (although she's still not as bad as I am naturally!) and claims that's part of why she'll never really remember which foot is the shifter and which is the brake.

Take your meds, take it easy, and heal fast & well.  Glad as hell to see you posting.

Bill, I am getting better every single day, and luckily I am not on any meds at all. The speech therapist says I should improve every day for the next couple of months or so. In time I hope to be right as rain again... Thanks...

  Can I make up an embarrassing story about you to share since I don't have a real one? I don't know you other than through here but I sure wish you all the best! Hospitals suck but there are some things not well suited for DIY, medical emergencies and sex being but a few that spring to mind.
