sump plug washers

hey all dont know if this will help had my sump plug weeping a while back put an o ring on it and was ok BUT!!!! i have found that if you can get a " UNO" washer, off a UNO fitting the right size they have basically a single sided lip seal moulded INTO  the washer. works for me   :good2:

A 14mm spark plug washer is what I stock, sell and use as it is a compression washer that is readily available and doesn't cost $5+ from Yamaha.

I've been using these for years..... about 16 or so. How much do you get for 1, Randy?

I usually install new ones on all of my rebuilds and they are N/C. Of all of the ones I have also handed out over the years have also been free and I just sent one to Maine for a fellow FJ'er for free along with the other parts he bought.

That's it why it is hard to justify Yamaha's high pricing...
