Morning, :morning1:

I am looking for 120/180 new set up and wondering what you guys recommend based on your experience.
Those days, so many options to choose.....I want sticky tires but not track tires.

Cheers
It does not matter how slowly I go as long as I do not stop.

MarioR,

What size rims? (What size tires do you have there now)?
Cheers,
Red

P.S. Life is too short, and health is too valuable, to ride on cheap parade-duty tires.

In 120/70-17 and 180/55-17  I'm currently running a Michelin Road 6's more for touring than sport.
I chose the Road 6's due to the excellent mileage I got from my previous Road 5's.

However, if I didn't care about mileage I would try Bridgestone Battlax S23

Red, 17" conversion like Pat suggested.

Pat, I had Michelin Road 5 and didn't like them. To me they felt kind of soft—not very solid or stable—but that was just my experience.

Now I'm considering:
Michelin Power 6 / Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S23 / Dunlop Sportmax Q5A or Dunlop RoadSmart 4 (I have RoadSmart 3 on the FZR and they look and feel good).

Mileage — I don't care.
Most important is that the bike feels stable and solid.

Thanks.

I am partial to the Continental line. I would recommend the Sport Attack 4's

I'm not the fastest FJ rider, I am 'half-fast', the fastest slow guy....
