The guys behind me tell me my bike is running rich as I am leaving them in the dust.
First I will check the air filter, I know it's good, but that's always a thing.
I'm not real worries about it, but it's going to be looked at sometime soon.
Buy a new set of carbs or would the emulsion tubes be worn out?
Wallered out, oval, you know the issue, I'm sure.
If so, would I also need to replace the adjustable needles?
Talking out loud, looking for input.

Do a hot compression check with open throttle.
Disconnect the vacuum advance (plug port at manifold) pop in some fresh plugs, go for a ride and get a color reading on the plugs. Maybe it's just one carb acting up?
It's possible your brass needle jets (aka emulsion tubes) are worn.
It's possible your float needle seats or needle seat O rings are slightly leaking causing your fuel bowl levels to be high. When you bike is off there are no signs of leaking on the floor because your fuel pump is holding back the flow (as it should)

RPM Robert can chime in here with his experience...

Cheers lad

Thanks Pat, we're thinking the same, I just need to get to it.
Might be time to bite the bullet and buy a new set of carbs from RPM
