Bug spray

Wife "I'm going to the shops. Do you need anything?"
Me "Yep, just some bug spray for me to keep in the shed"

Months later..
Wife "Do you have any bug spray?"
Me "Yes sweetie"

Days later
Me "Sweetie, where's the bug spray? I need it back in the shed"
Wife "It's where you left it"
Me "I gave it to you"
Wife "That's right"
Me "Ok, I have petrol. That'll do"

I'm not sure if that is a joke or just stupid to everyone else, but it was a real conversation that cracked me up.
