I want a new  chainset... but now I seem to have a problem. The framenumber starts with 3CX build 1988. But I have ABS and is imported in Europe in 1992.
Which chainset should I buy or isn't there any difference between? Thxs

ABS was not possible in '88. The pump wouldn't fit. Different frame.
Only in the gen 4 frames ('91-95) did Yamaha offset the shock mounting needed to fit the abs pump.
Here's a list of FJ VIN's you can peruse:  https://fjowners.com/index.php?topic=13764.0

No chain difference between FJ's with ABS and non ABS FJ's
They all use a 110 link 530 chain. Get a top of the line chain for your FJ.

FJ's eat cheap chains and cheap chains beat the shit out of the engine cases when they fail.
Not if they fail......when they fail.

Speaking of which...
I wonder how MoPar Steve is doing?
1) Free Owners Manual download: https://tinyurl.com/fmsz7hk9
2) Don't store your FJ with E10 fuel https://tinyurl.com/3cjrfct5
3) Replace your old stock rubber brake lines.
4) Important items for the '84-87 FJ's:
