 since today, my oil sensor doesn't work. I don't get a Light whith a cold start while the light will work together with the ABS light when testing. Is replacement of the sensor difficult? Thxs 4 helping

RPM - Robert

The light is a float. It should only come on when the oil is low not when it is cold.

That said it is easy to replace with teh exhaust removed.

Thxs, If I understand you correctly, it doesn't light up if u turn the ignition ON?

RPM - Robert

It may do that. Our bikes are in storage so I can't check but it shouldn't come on because the oil is cold.

Is it the sensor or bulb?
There is an oil light and fuel light check function that the owners handbook outlines. .

1) turn the handlebar run/stop switch to stop position
2) turn on the key ignition switch
3) press starter button.

Both the oil level light and fuel level light should illuminate on the gauge cluster.
Failure of either light to illuminate indicates a burned out bulb.

Correct, the ABS and Oil light are werking...the fuel Light doesn't. If I understand it correctly,  the oil light is just for OILLEVEL not PRESSURE? That would explains why it isn't werking like other bikes/Carson do.

Correct, it is an oil level light...thankfully not oil pressure.

Very common to have it blink on during hard acceleration.

We call it the kookaloo light.
