Had a great weekend at the National Exhibition Centre and the Classic Motor Show, with a couple of friends............. and our 3 FJ's on display on the VJMC stand. It was a great VJMC turnout with around 30 Japanese bikes from the 1960's through to the early 2000's, mostly, but not all, pristine "better than new" show-only bikes, but even so, our daily-rider FJ's and a couple of well used off road Suzuki's were still very popular with the show-goer's

This is a huge show, over 5 large Halls, with everything from the earliest classic bikes and cars, to buses, trucks, military service vehicles and a huge indoor autojumble (vehicular flea-market). The FJ's generated lots of questions and compliments, as well as "I had one when I was younger" and "I wish I'd never sold mine" comments yet again, over all 3 days.

Luckily it was nice warm and dry ride into the Show for set-up on Thursday so only a quick wipe-over with a rag was needed to make the bikes presentable, but for the ride home on Sunday evening, it was very, very wet  :sarcastic: On arrival back home, my FJ was promptly blown dry'ish with my air-line and locked away in the garage - it will be getting a thorough clean over the next week.

I think this is the last opportunity of the year to display the old FJ, but fear not, she'll be getting used all through the winter, whenever its dry (so far, I've done over 9,000 miles on her now since getting back to riding in the spring) !!!

Here's a few photo's, the first two are on set-up evening (hence the reflective safety-waistcoats).
