Today saw the re-opening of a quite famous Biker Cafe (Jacks Hill) near Towcester today, which has been closed for a number of years now.

It was also the last day of operation for another Biker "Haunt" Cafe, called Industry and Supply, at Weedon Bec, near Daventry.

Together a group of local friends (2 others on FJ12's, plus a Suzuki SV 650, a Suzuki Bandit 1250, a Kawasaki GPZ 1000RX, A BMW r1250 GS and a Triumph Street Twin 1200), we set out just before 9am this morning, with frost on the ground and an air temperature of 2c for  achilly ride along the twistiest route to Jacks Hill cafe for breakfast. Unfortunately, they'd sold out of food by 10am so we had to wait for new stock to arrive, before "brunch".

After brunch and fair bit of time warming up and watching all the bikes come and go, we then headed up to Industry and Supply for their final day, to sample the lovely cakes with a nice cuppa - luckily, it's only shutting down because they're moving to bigger better location!!. Afterwards a much warmer ride home.

Only around 80 miles ridden, but I arrived home just around 1pm, right before the rain started, a great result.
