Since there has not been a "West Coast Rally" in Willits since 2016, a small group of us have decided that we are itching to get back there and spend some more time........

This is where it all started for me, when I attended the WCR in Willits in 2010, and again in 2014.

The location is the site of the former KOA.
It is now privately operated, but they still have all of the familiar Cabins and RV-sites. They also have tent-sites, and appear to have expanded a few areas within the property.

There are 4 of us who are booked for the entire week.
As of right now, all of their Cabins are available except C1 and C3 for these dates.
I have not checked their RV or tent sites for availability.........

If you can only come for a couple nights, or only ride for a few days, please come join us for as many as you can.

I will be arriving Wednesday afternoon/evening on May 27th.
I'm staying an entire week, and will be leaving Wednesday morning June 3rd.
I will be trailering my bike from Denver area.

They are booking their sites now for next season, so if you are interested in joining us.......Please book a cabin or a site as soon as you can.
There are also a number of Hotels a short distance away in Willits, if that is more your style.

In the past this has been an FJ1100/FJ1200 event, but any Motorcycle is welcome!
I will be bringing my Super-Tenere. I'm planning on cross-posting an invite thread on the Super-Tenere Forum as well. I know there are a few owners on there who would probably show up.......
So bring your FJ............Bring your Super-Tenere............Bring whatever Bike you like to ride!
There are plenty of excellent paved-roads and dirt-roads in the area to enjoy!
I'm planning on riding some of both.......

Post up in here if you'd like to join us!

Hey Alan...  just a note from the wilderness to appreciate the effort firstly and to let you know I'm going to try to make it.  It would be great to see some of the other WCR regulars...

My son Ian and I from Reno are planning to give it a try also. since its an open bike rally I'm going to invite my nephew from Petaluma also. I'll be bringing my black fj1100 I took to the Hayfork rally (I put an xjr 1300 engine in it since last time) Ian will be on his ZZR1200 again and my nephew if he comes would be on 700cc something or other. Its tempting to try to figure out how to bring our dual purpose bikes as well. I have an old yamaha xt550 and my son and nephew both have yamaha wr400's.
Ian and I took a trip through there two years ago but a little further on to Fort Bragg. Then on up through Legget and it's redwoods then up through the avenue of giants and more redwoods then inland past hayfork accross to the feather river canyon section and Quincy then back down to Reno.I'll try to shrink some pictures soon and post them.
