Danger in removing both these bolts at same time?

After working so hard over the past 9 months to bring my 86 back to life I decided to treat it to some new Renntec engine bars. If I'm reading the instructions properly it says to remove both these bolts as well as the one above the rear footpeg in order to install the bars.

But is there any risk in these two frame pieces separating when I remove both bolts at the same time? I'm worried I'll pull the bolts and then the frame pieces will separate due to the weight of the engine and then I won't be able to get them back together but maybe it isn't an issue. Hoping somebody who's installed these before can comment..

Put a bottle Jack or floor Jack with a 2x4 under the engine. Slight uplift, just enough to take the weight off the frame bolts.  Work only on 1 side at a time.

You'll be fine.

Love to see these progress posts...it's coming together!

thanks Pat will do! ...just waiting on some final RPM parts to come hopefully tomorrow and some wiring and electrical parts to come monday, then I will get the gas tank set up and wire in the fuel pump and safety switch and hopefully I can legit ride it. Currently I'm limited to 30mph and 3 miles with my little spare external gas tank I have set up so I'm itching to actually go for a real ride on it...

When replacing the gasket on the sending unit under the gas tank and fuel valve I don't need to use any type of sealant correct? Just the rubber gasket against the tank? last thing I want is a fuel leak onto a hot engine after I've parked it

Just a fresh gasket is all I need...make sure the surfaces are clean.
It's a very hot environment under there, make sure you have the heat shield on the carbs and the under tank insulation blanket.

Update, I took off the lower plastic and wedged some wood blocks under the bottom frame rails. The frame shifted a little when I removed the bolts but wasn't an issue getting the new bolts back in.
