After years of struggling with diagnosing FJ running issues trying to work out is it a fuel, electrical, exhaust, suspension or drive issue, I've finally solved one of the set of variables.

A bench set of known good carbies.

The next time (and there will be a next time  :sarcastic: ) that I suspect the carbies are the issue I'll simply swap in the bench set.
Job done, if the bench set make it run well, the others will need need a clean or something like diaphrams ect. Once cleaned they'll either need another clean or good to go, or if maintenance, it shall be done.

If the bike is still playing up, it is likely electrical.
