In dire need of help, I'm new ish to the motorcycle community and miss having a bike!!! First week I get it gets layed down on the left side

Sorry for your loss, I hope you were not hurt. Where in the world are you? Easier to get parts when they are near you. 
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Glad you're ok metal and plastic can be fixed. I have a set of stock mufflers of an 86 if you're interested.

If you were in the UK I could help, but I'm guessing you're somewhere in the USA/Canada ? Could you let us know?

Separately, how did the bike get layed down ? What went wrong? It's really important from us to learn from these situations so they don't happen again.

Understand the cause, correct it and ride Safer  :good2:

I'm from Texas ,t boned a car driving too fast and hadn't practice breaking ig bc I needed a rear brake pad and rode the clutch when I panicked but stopped upon impact and slid to the curb on the left side I guess it spun a Lil and sheared all that off I walked away fine surprisingly had my gear on!

But I really appreciate all the help / guidance I'll be more than happy to pay for shipping;-;
