If you have a welder available weld a nut to it and unscrew it. The heat helps loosen things up and the nut lets you get a wrench on it and get some leverage.

That's an option I didn't have before - but I do now!

I have a welder and was considering that. I also had a parts bike I bought decades ago and decided swapping heads was easier, especially given that I needed to pull the head for access anyway. I still have that head for when I run out of projects.
