Abs module removal

Hello Nick here
I have a 92 fj1200a
I'm in the process of rebuilding her
She sat outside for 12 years in Florida
I have replaced the brake and clutch master cylinders with cotra corsa brembo controls running single cable to each front blue cap caliper
1 single cable from rear master to stock caliper ( haven't really found any info on rear caliper swaps)
Just curious on the removal of the abs system
I'm a licensed electrician and have worked on older 4 banger yamahas for years

I see that the fuel pump pulls from a relay shared with the abs module
As long as that relay stays I can pull the module and everything should be fine? Just cap off the signal wires from the masters to the module (br/g&br/bl)
O/w are the speed sensors front and rear figure those can go cause the speedometer isnt run off those wires.

So can I just pull it and the fuse for it and everything be fine?

Also any info or rear caliper upgrades.

I order all of my new parts from Rpm those dudes are the best!!!

Nick, try some Google searches with "Fjowners.com ABS removal". This has been done and posted.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Thank you think I got it sorted. Do you know of any direct swaps for the rear caliper?

All FJ rear calipers are interchangeable.

https://www.partzilla.com/product/yamaha/4BH-2580W-01-00  select "Product Fitment".

You can change the brake caliper if you change your back wheel assembly. e.g. YZF1000 Thunder Ace or GSXR, etc.
