Anyone upgrade to LED headlight bulb?

I found these online and website says they work on my 86

I've got the same as Pats, on my second one, first one lasted about 4-5yrs.
Just have to aim your headlight down very low to get rid of most of light spilling into oncoming traffic, high beam seems to cut a lot of that spill also.
You are very visible during the day  :good:

I've been using this Osram LED bulb now for a couple of years - it's brilliant (apologies for the pun). Nice sharp beam cut off, massively brighter and much better visibility overall.

Riding with a couple of pals on their R1 and R6, they couldn't stick with me at night on a cross country ride because their lights were so poor by comparison.

The difference is like "night and day".

The packet says "off road use only", but I ignored that because it works so well. Cost here was £75 for a pack of 2. Far better than all of the 150%, 200% brighter options I've tried, and miles better than the Osram Nightbreaker too.
