FJ1200Supermoto

Hi,

I am René and I live in the south off the neterlands near the belgian border.

I have KTM Supermoto with an engine from a FJ1200 3CV.
If there is any interest in the build process I can make a project topic with the pics I have.

It has been fitted with Mikuni RS38 smoothbore carbs and a Sebring 4-1 exhaust.

Here's a picture of the bike.
It wasn't ready yet on this picture, this was on the day of the first testride.

And you can see the first testride on this video:

Greetings from holland, and I hope I don't upset the FJ purists :flag_of_truce:

Welcome Rene, we would love to see your pictures on the build. We have a saying here, Old FJ's don't die because we modify! I can only imagine that big FJ lump of an engine makes things interesting on a super moto...

Cheers, again welcome!

Holy hell!  Awesome!  Looks like it could have been factory - well done!   :drinks:

Thanks, it dure is interesting to ride. I need to build a bit of exhaust so I can fit a muffler on the original KTM spot.
After that it will be jetted on the dyno.

It was a lot off custom work, I will post a new thread of the build soon.

This looks really fun, looking forward to seeing the build.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.
