I read that Joe Berk's wife is battling breast cancer.

If you can, please help a fellow FJ Owner in this time of need.

I was advised earlier today that Beth has passed away.

This is Rachel, posting for mom again. Im so saddened to make this post but she passed peacefully this morning. We know she is pain free and in the arms of Jesus, probably somewhere singing and playing piano like she loved to her whole life. Feel free to text, we may not respond quickly but it is fine to text if you feel led. We will post more updates when we know when her Celebration of Life service will be.

The Raduechel family is very sorry for your loss Joe.

Country Joe

Randy and Robert,

My family and I deeply appreciate this post and your condolences. I thank everyone who has contributed to my wife's GoFundMe account, which in large part has allowed me to stay home from work for the past 2 months to take care of her while she was moving through the hospice process. My employer has generously given me the opportunity to stay home and tend to my wife and kids until I am ready to come back to work, but bills still have to be paid. We have been amazed at the acts of kindness, generosity and compassion poured out on my family, from both familiar and unexpected sources, but we are profoundly appreciative of them all. We are now trying to discover what our "new normal" is going to look like. Several times I've started to ask my wife "Did ya hear about...?" then suddenly realize that she is no here to listen to my dumb stories or jokes anymore. 32 year old habits die hard. I'm slowly beginning to comprehend how hard it is to lose your best friend of over 32 years is going to be. But we rejoice that she no longer needs to walk with 2 canes due to arthritis in her hips and knees, she no longer has to do at home dialysis due to kidneys that just want to make stones instead of filtering and there are no more cancer doctor appointments. Now we rejoice that she has received her imperishable, incorruptible body as promised in 1st Corinthians 15.

Again, we thank each and every one of you who has contributed a donation, expressed their condolences and prayed for me and my family. It both humbles me and greatly warms my heart to experience such care.
