Check out this picture. I have a line running around the circumference of my front tire, left of center by about a cm. It's a Bridgestone Battlax 120/70 17.  Feels raised a little at the line. Any thoughts?

What does it look like if you clean the dirt off?

If it still has a color difference and it feels raised/higher, could be from the molding process. Multi-compound blends have to connect somewhere. Just a thought.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

When I first noticed it the tyre was cleaner. Could be the compound boundary. There is a similar bump on the other side but no line.

I was always able to see the compound boundary on my Bridgestones.
