Anyone know what signal the safety relays receives from the clutch switch?

Dude, with all these electrical questions you REALLY NEED to find a Yamaha FSM and study the wiring diagram(s).  The electrical sections are laid out VERY WELL and very clearly break out all the sub-systems.

I don't understand the question, what signal?  It's a 12 volt electrical signal...on a normally open circuit.

I mean voltage, I don't want to find out the hard way that Yamaha reduced the voltage to the igniter
And yes, I need a good wiring diagram

The ignition system voltage is full, battery voltage.

These engine and ignition system have been used in race cars for 30+ years and the are run from a bare bones wiring requirement and a toggle switch.

I've seen that a couple of times while looking for answers, tbh now I've decided to wait until a 1TX fairing turns up I will stick with the stock 3CV loom, no point in reinventing the wheel as they say, I'm going to still have to find a new home for the igniter under the fairing but by keeping the loom where it was designed it makes hiding the battery, fuel pump relay and starter solenoid a little easier.

Of course finding a 1tx fairing is going to take time, or a bit of luck
