Thanks to all the great help I got from all you FJOwners my 86' FJ is back on the road.
I think I stressed way to hard getting it ready for inspection. You can check all my other threads...

Turns out when I got to the inspection for the rebuilt title it went something like this:

Pulled into the DMV, got in line behind all the cars. Shut off the bike.

Looked down... saw a trail of oil and AC condensation leading to the garage from the cars in front of me. (also noticed I had some oil on my boot lol but I know where it came from and will fix that before I do any more riding)

Every time a car would go into the garage and the line would move I would just use my legs and scoot my bike along. I watched them inspecting the cars and they looked at a lot of stuff and I felt confident knowing I had all my ducks in a row.

When it was my turn to go in the garage, I started the bike gave it a little boost and killed the engine as it rolled into the garage. Guy came over asked my name, got my paperwork out of his box. Walked around my bike. Checked the VIN against his paperwork. Said "Nice bike. Screams 1980's. Sign here and go inside and pay the lady"

Didn't as me to start the bike. Didnt beep the horn or check the turnsignals or nothing.

Picked up my new rebuilt title. Got my license plate.  I call the feeling of being legal again after rebuilding my bike getting a 'ResErection'.

Unfortunately I wont have a lower fairing anymore the other one is just too tore up I think. I will be on the hunt for a new one though. It doesnt look too bad without it.
