Old bikes= good fun

I was supposed to go to the race track this weekend but the track bike was fubar.  SO, I dug the FJ1100 out from it's winter slumber and decided to go for a short spin.  200 miles later I'm reminded just how much fun this old girl is.  I've done a lot to it in the last 38 years, 17 inchers all around, penske out back and GP suspension in the YFF forks, An Ivan's kit, pod filters and V&H exhaust.  This bike just plain speaks my language.  I have to admit I was kinda surprised just how nimble it is for a relatively heavy bike.  When I got home I took a look at the tires....lots of tread but they're 10 years old!  Gonna have to do something about that.
