1989 3CV FJ1200

« on: February 12, 2022, 07:51:33 AM »

Hello all,

I have just managed to find a used Krauser K2 fitting kit. I was wondering if anyone has some photos (or even the fitting instructions) showing where the parts go. I have the two arms that fit to the footrest hanger and four arms a, 'u' plate and two frame clamps.....

Hi Rob,

I have the K2 set on my bike and will get some photos for you. I’m pretty sure I’ve posted them already for someone else somewhere, so will try to track them down. I think I also managed to find some fitting instructions through a Google search.  good2

Thanks for the reply. I have looked extensively on the net for both pictures and instructions with no luck. I"d be really grateful if when you have the time you could do some pictures.

Thanks Rob

Hi Rob,

Here's a link to a couple of photo's I posted earlier, with a part schematic of the side rail fixings. I'll look further for the underseat mounting and pop into my garage to try to take a useful photo of the fitting.

And here's a sketch of how each side goes together.

Any Questions, just let me know  good2

Hi Dean, Thanks for all the info and photos. I think my kit is missing the front P clamp and spacer. I have laid out the rear clamps as per your diagram and have taken a photo.
