Just to reiterate, raising the rear will also affect the side stand causing the bike to lean quite a bit more when on the side stand.  I fitted a modified chunk of hockey puck to my side stand to compensate.

Did we ever come up with a plug and play side stand from another model?
A R-6 or something like that....??

I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that one of the R6 sidestands is a plug and play option - just don't know what year, or if that is even true.

I might give one a try as my FJ does lean over too much, when on the side stand. I'm guessing the smaller overall diameter of the 170x60 17 tyre I've got on, together with my shorter dog bones, mean I've not raised my rear quite as much as I thought (maybe nearer 3/4", or less).
