Noel, will we see you? Nowra is outside of Greater Disease Land....just sayin'.

Well, that was the plan. Well may we have joked about lock downs and travel restrictions being in place so far in advance but the way things are shaping up at the moment, it could be a reality. We'll just have to play it by ear. I missed last year because of this.

Six weeks away, so good chance we'll be fine.

It might suck for Sydney Siders though  :empathy3:.

I might have to boot Alf from the Shed to the house and Vik can crash with Mum & Dad. You can get the shed.

You'll all be shocked by Vik, he's grown a tad. Not sure where the tall genes come from, not my family. Perhaps Nicoles' lover  :sarcastic:.

He's also giving me a run for my money on arm wrestles, pushups, etc. Thank goodness I don't have to worry about him drinking yet. He'd likely wipe the floor with me there are well.

Troyskie, Did you mention that your electric HWS is playing up and might need some essential electrical repairs done in 6 weeks

No Al, no problems at home.

Major dramas at work though! I'll need industrial electrical and machine tool help, so I might reach out to Gav as well... :sarcastic:

Looks like I'll be missing your shed day Troy,  :cray:
Not sure about Alf and Pete's Bermi shed day too  :negative:
And then a Bendigo rally weekend in October also will be missed.

That's three 5 day weekend rides gone for this year  :boredom:

Have a Great Shed day  :good:

That's a shame Alan, I'm probably in the same boat the way things are shaping up. We've just had lockdown 6.0 extended, again, but it's not all bad news, amongst all the doom and gloom, the politicians have just given themselves a pay rise!

Is the Bendigo event you mentioned the VJMC rally? Do you have old bikes other than the FJ?

Yes, VJMC rally, sadly no more elderly bikes, Noel.
Be good to give yourself a pay rise.

Looks like there's a growing number in the boat

Well, even my prediction of twelve weeks is looking a bit optimistic, more like twelve month.
Who knows, maybe by the end of the year.
Some how, we have to convince people not to break the rules.

Still, when we finally do open up, I will be first to book for what ever is on offer.

Chin up.

Captain Confidence here,

She'll be apples mate.
No wucken furries cobber.
Wot fucken flu fucken mate.

Just watch fellas. Westies, Skegs and Skips will unite in splendid shit-fuckery across Sydney to make things worse for a short time before deciding 'fair enough'. Then we'll have a few weeks of better news before all getting down to Nowra for the shed day :). Just like they did in Victoria last year.

They just have to muzzle or remove from public view Minister Hazzard. What an appropriate name. He seems like a 'Hazzard' to courtesy, a 'wealth Hazzard', or an easy way for the state to alienate and offend its' people.

I can't wait for Wakehurst to switch reps.

Troyskie

btw-Sorry Randy, there's a little Oz politics in this....remove if you want mate.

We can only hope Troy.

I'll be the only one from interstate. Should the border be closed come the time, I have a plan......

It's just short of 1000km day ride to Troy's, my hands, feet and arse just went numb thinking about it.

Well, no surprises here, even my best optimism has been dashed.

However, we will not be defeated, I'm only delaying the shed day till November.

Alf has suggested Saturday Nov 20, so early birds arrive 19th, final departures Sunday 21st after breaky.

I haven't checked with SWMBO yet but it should be fine unless I've forgotten something.

Beds same, pending attendees.

I'll re-book the dyno. I took the red/silver out for a fang today. I'd like to see what it has. Unrestored 84, stock as. Should be interesting. Kookaloo today felt strong.

Troy, I'm a maybe due to work piling up, hopefully weekend will be clear.

Did you know your Manshed starts on the perfect day...

International Men's Day will take place on Friday, November 19, 2021.

Celebrated now in more than 80 countries around the world, IMD acknowledges the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities.

It is an opportunity to raise awareness of men's health and well-being, and to call out positive and diverse role models.

Thanks Al,

I'll update the event to 'International Mens FJ Shed Day, Nowra Chapter'

Just a small update, anyone wanting a dyno run will need to be at Jobsons for an 0930 start. We have three confirmed. $100 cash on the day. Dave Jobson (Simons brother) will be doing the runs, including the a/f readouts. Dave knows what he's doing.
