So I've just dropped a set of Xjr1200 cylinders onto a set of Fj1100 crankcases and they dropped straight on.
The crank case openings are the same measurements on both.
Plug and play or am I mistaken?

I assume XJR1300 cylinders would be a different matter?

The XJR1300 cylinders fit fine, I have one on my '84.

The XJR1300 cylinders are actually 1250cc and Niksil plated.
When the racers oval out those plated aluminum bores, folks like Curt Andrew's put iron sleeves in them for running 82/83/84mm pistons.
Ain't no replacement, for displacement.
