Very pleased to have been the subject of this months "Long Term Owners" spot. I can't post a link as the magazine pages are only available by subscription for on-line reading.

Anyway, here are the 4 pages (and I did manage to get a mention in for the forum  :good2:

Wow Dean, what a write up. Long term ownership here is not that uncommon but to the rest of the world that don't ride FJ's, it probably is. I like your comment about most of the FJ's in the 1990 photo are probably still going strong.

Your FJ history is not only long but rich and is now such an integral part of your motorcycling, and even your family life, you could never sell it.

A most enjoyable read and a story that mimics the FJ ownership of many. Man, how cool would it be fanging around the Nürburgring on an FJ, haha, it makes Phillip Island look like a very poor cousin.

Great stuff, not that anyone needs reminding why we love our FJ's but it's still great to read about it.

Very nice to read something that makes me appreciate what I experience every day on my 100-mile round trip commute. I was just thinking about it this morning, at 36 degrees, bundled up in my thermal suit, with the grip warmers toasting my palms, the motor just as smooth as silk gliding past traffic. A little noisy inside the  AGV Sport Modular, but I can still hear the sweet hum. I love this bike.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I was very pleased with the way they did the story too.

Noel - I wish it was me who made the comment about those old FJ's still going strong, but it was the editor/journo (Alan Seeley).

Now I just wish the weather would stop its current cycle of rain, freeze, rain, freeze, rain, freeze....so I can get out for a little ride !!!!!!!!
