Sorry Rob - no side plates that will fit an 87

Modified Exhaust for a 92
Stock collector with the left side cut off and welded up. A baffle was welded to the inside to direct flow (blue tape). Yosh muffler has been shortened about 4" to get rid of some rash. Repacked with ceramic fiber (0 miles). A few blemishes on the muffler but overall it looks pretty good. Welded the bracket to it to get rid of the strap. Not too loud - no self-respecting Harley guy would be caught on something this quiet but it's throatier than the stock FJ.
The muffler mounting is correct for 91 or newer but might also bolt up to 87 or older. Definitely would need a bracket for 88-90. Picture shows it on a 92 I just sold - buyer wanted the stock pipes.
Nice cheap way to get a 4 into 1 without the collector hanging down or losing the center stand.
I've run a couple of these on different FJs and the jetting seemed to be fine (42.5 pilots, 115 mains).
$150 US plus shipping

Hey Pete I would be interested in the ignition trigger coils and the side cover that goes over them. My cover seems to have broken into many pieces and the rotor impinged on the right trigger coil wearing a groove in to it

Hey Trav, the 88/89 uses a different ignition system than your 84/85.
Pick up coil is not compatible

Good catch Pat. I don't know what I was thinking.I have already noticed my 86 FJ is different. I could still use the side cover though.luckily despite the groove worn into the trigger coil it is still functioning.

Well Travis, that worked out well - I sold the coils I had just the other day anyway. I have the cover - send me $10 and your address and I'll get it on its' way to you.

T Legg

Yes the rotor is good . The right trigger coil got moved inward by the impact and then nicked when Ian rode the bike back to the house. Thanks a million.
