Guy's,  that seriously needs to picked up by someone from this forum - looks almost museum quality.

It can't be allowed to go to someone who won't truly appreciate it and keep us appraised of its future adventures. !!!

Dean, as someone who regularly (under normal circumstances) spends months each year in the US, why don't you buy it, for that sort of money it wouldn't matter if it was in the shed most of the year.

I'd thought about that Noel, but as "tourists" they made it almost impossible for us to get a bank account in the US, let alone buy and register a bike. Post 9/11 and post money laundering regs, if you don't have a residence or resident status as a private individual, getting and keeping "assets" can be a nightmare.

I'd even thought about getting my brother-in-law to buy it and I'd pay him, but he reckons his wife would divorce him if he ever brought a bike anywhere near the house - you have to meet her to get the scale of her paranoia !!!

Alright.  I can't afford to buy it. Still throwing money into my  house.  But I'm going to drive down and  check it out. After my12hr shift. A little over an hour from here. I could hold it in heated/airconditioned shop. For someone along with my 10 bikes. They  have to arrange for  payment.
If you want to  buy it. And store it at my house... and use it. I could buy you out later. After I  recover financially from building my house.

If you're out of country. You can come and stay as long as you want. I have a spare bedroom. And an acre. Of land to camp on. Have security cameras too. But live in a  small  2018 people town. Extremely low crime.

I had talked to the  owner. Todd.  Yesterday.  He said it has the high idle hang. He said he  ordered the orings for the manifolds.  And the tires have tread. But maybe  original.  Don't look  bad  but are old. If someone here wants to buy it i can store it here. And can mount new tires for you and  replace the orings before you come and  ride it home. Or you can stay here. And use my stuff to replace it yourself.

We actually have a family house that's empty in Connecticut that we use when we're there - like you it's in a very low crime area and a very nice part of CT, but at the moment we have no idea when we're going to be able to travel to the US again - because I'm "old" and the US is on our "Red List" for Covid, we can't get travel/health insurance Andy the Govt won't help us if we have issues when there. Liz's mum has been a couple of weeks to live max, so at the moment she's pretty depressed about everything, knowing she won't see her again and not being able to do anything to help.

Once things are back on an even keel, we might make some plans to head across - we're actually thinking of bringing our youngest to Houston to see a specialist to help sort out his spinal issues - but as he's listed as vulnerable by the NHS he can't travel anyway.

Bloody COVID !!!
