Absolutely! I would be more than happy to go on a cruise with some fellow FJ riders. Interestingly, that bike seems to be a close twin to mine. My '89 also sat in the PO's garage, well cared for over a number of years. We've since become friends and ride together regularly. I can't imagine why Wisconsin tends to be a place to find old, well cared for machines that live mostly in garages! (spoiler, it's because winter is 6 months)
7500 miles has mine beat handedly, though. Mine has 1k miles for every year it's got under it's belt.

15 years ago I found a mint 1992 FJ in Lafayette Indiana with only 4,500 miles on it....bought it.

I think you are correct, regions with short riding seasons means low miles (if stored correctly)

Hold up Patrick, maybe you should wait until the new year. The prototype 89-90 RPM shock is in the testing phase.

So Pat's 89 has the infamous melted red plug. I've never had one. What do you replace it with? And what else can go along with that being melted.? Or is it just a matter of replacing it?
It  looked good from the  outside but is melted together good.

Dan, use insulated spade (slip fit) connectors. Oppose the genders so you don't cross connect the + and -.

Mark is there any other problems. That go along with it. That should be fixed or is that it just replace the plug and good to go
