The wiring is complete and ties into the OEM wiring with no problem. I have a few extra Red/White/Black pig tails from Speed Hut that allows me to put a connector in for the Oil Temp Gauge so the panel is easy to disconnect for removal.

An interesting feature of the GPS speedo is an extra wire that is for a "Hot Start" function. The wire is intended to be wired directly to the battery to allow for immediate satellite aquisition at stops of less than 4 hours. Since the OEM clock is no longer used. The hot wire for the clock fits the bill perfectly.

Fred

Good Morning!!
I am Javier, from Spain.
I am installing the clocks to my FJ1100.
Can you tell me where you have connected (on the motorcycle) the yellow cable of the tachometer?

¿podéis decirme a donde habéis conectado (en la moto) el cable amarillo del tacómetro?

JaviJavier

This is my FJ1100.
The only thing missing is the installation of the frame to make it perfect because the originals are dead

Sólo le falta la instalación del cuadro para que queda perfecta porque los originales están muertos

Conecte el cable amarillo Speed Hut al cable de tacómetro gris del clúster de instrumentos

Connect the Speed Hut Yellow wire to the Grey Tachometer wire in the Instrument cluster.

Fred

OK!! Thank's Fred!!
And with the other two (brown and black) they don't connect to anything?

Connect the Brown wire to the gauge Red wire and connect the Black wire to the gauge black wire.

....

The photo in the dark that shows the gauges a kind of greenish color is self adjusted from my phone. The gauges actually glow an off white color and will be very easy on the eyes at night.

Fred

Thank you very much Fred for your help!
Sorry but I don't want to be heavy, the problem is that I don't have much idea about electricity. :negative:
I just have one more question ...
You say the greenish color adjusts automatically from your phone. I do not understand. These devices do not have a bluetooth connection, or any other type of wifi connection. What do you mean that you can adjust them automatically from your phone? and if possible, how is it done?
Maybe it's a mistake of mine in the translation, since my English is rubbish, or it is simply that I do not know :dash2:

Muchas gracias Fred por tu ayuda!
Perdona pero no quiero ser pesado, el problema es que de electricidad no tengo mucha idea. :negative:
Sólo tengo una duda más...
Dices que el color verdoso se ajusta automáticamente desde tu teléfono. No entiendo.

Javi - I think Fred is saying the light of the gauge is white but his phone shows it green.

Color changing gauges ... that's how to get a younger generation on the FJ!

My French and German improve directly in proportion to the amount of alcohol I drink  :sarcastic:

And my English get worse at the same rate !!

Connect the Brown wire to the gauge Red wire and connect the Black wire to the gauge black wire.

Fred

I'm going to consider increasing my number of daily shots !!

Fred, then the brown and black wires (from the tachometer) are the ones that give current with the contact?
Are the two wires from the inverter (black and black with stripe) connected to the wires from the old bulbs in the box?
Almost better, do you have the complete wiring diagram? is that since I have no idea, I am testing and I have already broken a fuse ... I'm afraid that I will finally break something.
Thank you!!

Here are the wire to wire connections for the Speed Hut Tachometer.

Speed Hut.                 FJ1200
TACHOMETER.         INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WIRES

Red                              Light Brown
Black.                          Black
White.                          Blue

Yellow.                         Grey

INVERTER

White.                          Blue
Black.                           Black

Splice the Speed Hut wires to the Instrument wires as listed.

Once the wiring is done. You will need to set the pulses for the tachometer. Follow the instructions and if memory serves me correct, for the 1988 and later FJ1200's you need to toggle the cable button until the needle gets to the 1PPR position.
