LOL, no, that's just the "catalogue" photo - I'll be getting the 712142 P battery, which is their VP14A-3 (replaces the YB14L as standard on the pre 1990 FJ here).  :good:

Now that really does look like at a BATTERY Chris.....and so it should at £400, without shipping and 2.32kg weight. Those lithium ion batteries really do give some weight savings  :sarcastic:

I wonder where would be the best place to fit it.....up in the fairing, behind the headlight, or should I just make a bracket and attach it to my forks, just above the front fender/mudguard, like you've done :lol:

I bought an EarthX lithium battery for my airplane. In aviation, weight is the enemy.  If my current old technology cheap battery lasts 5 years like my other batteries have, that's good enough for me.
