Spring Rally....or at least I am. Wood was delivered yesterday....when it was dry and Eddie didn't get stuck with the truck.
Raining today....what else is new.
Bit of excitement this morning, I forgot about the air mattress being wider than the bed and fell out of the bed. Had to dodge the dawg on the way to the floor. Skint my knee in the process.

TRoy, got your wine.

Anyone thinking of going to Wally World in Boone, it's under construction and I wouldn't recommend it.

Jeff's bike has already needed a new battery. So hopefully that's all he'll need.

Now if the rain would stop.

See everyone soon.

I finished Deans FJ sometime around midnight last night and delivered it to him this morning.  He is now loaded up and on his merry little way. :bye:

Left early am for Boone and got 2 hrs down the hy to the border, and got a blowout at speed. Talk about wooden steering. Although I have a repair kit and compressor and can usually repair this stuff, I had to pull over on a very sloping gravel shoulder on a busy stretch of 401 and could barely find a spot to put the sidestand down, much less repair anything. I decided to swap out both tires now and flatbedded the bike (Yea CAA) to my home dealer. I'll leave again tomorrow bright and early. I expect to be in Boone on Fri aft now since I will do a side stop on Thur at the FJR rally in Cruso. Hope there still is a fire burning!

(I should have changed out those tires before leaving  :dash2: )

Glad to hear you are ok Pierre. The 401 is no place to be working on the bike. Good luck on the next journey.

Not by a long shot. Parts did not arrive until Monday afternoon. Saints don't bitch or cuss.

Have had 2 GREAT days of riding with my fellow FJ brothers up here in Boone. I really had hoped I had left the hot weather in FL, but today was a bit warm. Course that beats what it could be.
