'Way more steps (   ) than I would use.  One-piece design.  See pix.  Run laces through the lace tabs at the holes, and lace to fit.  Run a heel strap from the lace holes if you want a heel strap (not needed).  Glue a heel cup insole at the heel on the foot side, if desired, with Shoe Goo.  I hate having something between my toes, with any sandals.

Great for the streets or muddy pathways, but you will have black skid marks on the floors all over in the house, if you wear them indoors.  D.A.M.H.I.K.  Helps to be single, there.

Speaking of which, does anyone here ride with the balls of their feet on the pegs, as opposed to the instep. I'm not talking about moving your inside foot back for the duration of a corner but both feet all the time?

Yeah, that pattern was kinda quick-'n'-dirty.    Actually, it would be better if each of the "laces tabs" were split into two narrower tabs on each side instead of one wide tab, so the sandal would be standing flatter on the floor.  That's my last upgrade, though; after this, I may want money.
