Hello everyone.  Haven't been good at posting on here.  Here goes.

With all the extra time on my hands (furloughed), I finally tackled a few mods on the FJ.  Swapped out the front forks for a rebuilt set of non-anti dive off an '89 FJ, A 17" front wheel and blue dots.  Did the YZF600R Thindercat 17" rear wheel swap too.  New rubber of course front and rear.  Went with Dunlop Roadsmart II's for now.  Did a facelift on my Supertrapp slip on's.  I'll post some pictures once I put it all back together.  I have a near perfect upper fairing and front fender to go on and a few more details to sort out.  I want to send a special thanks to Aviationfred and his friend Roger for their help, inputs and advice.  Nice to have guys like that as a nearby neighbors.

Just one question on the YZF rear wheel swap - did you end up machining the sprocket carrier, or did you just turn the sprocket around to sit the shoulder on the inside ?

'89 FJ 1200 3CV - no engine, tank, seat....parts bike for the future.

'88 FJ 1200 3CV - became a race bike, no longer with us.

I purchased a new 40 tooth sprocket and simply flipped it over to take advantage of the recess and not have to cut the sprocket carrier.

Got a lot of time on my hand so I've been detailing every single nut and bolt I remove or replacing the ones that aren't up to par (look like new).  This old girl deserves the attention and it's kept me from going nuts.   :wacko1:
