How's the Weather for the ECSR?

I'm not going, but I'm curious.  Is the rain and flooding in Tennessee going to affect NC?

Pardon my geolographical ignorance, but Nashville seems far enough away that it shouldn't affect the rally.

Got much rain in the northern NC area this spring?  Perhaps showing up a week earlier than "usual" will be enough to fool mother nature and the rain will be held to a minimum for the rally.

Have fun all.  Stay safe.

Now David, you know it never (always) rains in boone. I cant remember a rain free event in the past several years. It just goes to show our Rally is more about the owners than the weather. We will survive and miss you not being there. I'm sure someone will post the goings on as the event happens. Sure hope Jeff brings his safety glasses this year...

I've been watching the weather reports since rain isn't such a big deal to me (just means I ain't riding), but I do surely want some cooler weather. So far I'm seeing next Tuesday and Wednesday rain. But sun shining the rest of the time.

And David I'll be out in your neck of the woods the week after the rally. I fly into DFW, but then drive down to Kosse to work a horse show.

I'm not going, either. It sucks, but money and health issues prevail. First Spring Rally I've missed in six years except for the rainout\reschedule a couple of years ago.

Maybe I'll see you in the fall.

Y'all have a good time...and stay safe.

We're not a club. Clubs have rules. Pay dues. Wear hats and shit.

ahem.  first rule of rallies is don't work on your bike a week before the rally.

second rule is don't talk about the weather a week before the rally.

that is all.

When I got to Boone, I realized that I had accidentally packed the liner from my summer riding pants instead of rain pants.

I never got wet riding during the rally, but we got back to the KOA about an hour ahead of this (pardon the crappy cell phone video):

Others were not so lucky...     :wacko2:
