all the way until the top of the clip ons, are at the edges of where the top cap and the fork slider meets..... more or less,

in other words, if you take the top adjusting caps off you can feel the tops of the sliders flush with the clip ons

Hi I dont have the clip ons ,I just need to know how far the legs stick up thru the yoke ,or failing that what height the part where the clip on clamps onto the fork leg .. cheers

those are clip ons, and you can push the sliders to the top of those, i guess some go higher to get more less rake and trail, but my stock position is virtually flush with the clip ons

and besides, my guess is you want some material the clip ons to secure to, it's pretty much a no brainer

I dont have the clip ons..that was a pic from google ..I need the height the sliders go thru them to sit flush when the clip on is bolted to the top yoke ...As I dont have the clip ons I dont know how thick they are ..are they 1 inch 1n half inch, 2 inch or  ? I have the original top yoke but no clip ons

now i understand the question, you want to put the front end together but no clip , you could eyeball it for now and when you get the bars loosen up the clamps and slap them on right?
