That old beat, busted and cooked fairing is going in the trash. I did paint it with a Ford pearl topcoat but decided to try a cheaper solution than the available decals or further paint matching. The silver is a 3M vinyl wrap from Amazon and the red is 3M Scotchlite reflective tape. Also added rock guard film to the scoop area. Hoping it looks as good in the daylight now.

The cowling looks very good.  :good2: :i_am_so_happy:

The Black rear wheel with Silver front wheel is an interesting combination.... I like it!

Front wheel will be black by Spring. Servicing dforks and swapping blue dots out eventually. Will be doing it then.

I like your mufflers. What brand are those?

Bill, those look to be the Cobra F1S slip on mufflers, nicely polished! I just love polished aluminum.

John, you have a beauty for sure...Kudos!

What is it about Ricky...?

something about a submarine makes him like whale parts...

First, it was that big ol' whale tail on the proche' he drives

and now the fascination of the dork... :bomb:

Oh Ricky... :scratch_one-s_head:

ding, ding, ding,...  give that man a spin on oil filter.  Dork has an almost flattering independent oddball usage that's very common, but I was thinking more of the whale penis for those wondering.

Yeah the previous owner told me how hard those Cobras were to find. They will only make it a few more seasons, though. Pitting and pinholes developing. Got my eye on Beowulf's down the road or maybe a whole Delkevic system.
Otherwise, I am finally doing long-awaited upgrades.

You still have the old chin fairing? I'm in Chicago... mine is missing the fairing... I think I could repair that.

I do still have it. Live in Naperville. Can send you detailed pics or arrange a meet, if you like.
