Or maybe it is................................. :scratch_one-s_head:  You don't know what you're missing?

Saturday I took off on an all-day trek to find some Fall-Colors. (I succeeded)
It ended up being a longer day than I originally planned, but was totally worth it!

Found some old (short) Rail-Tunnels over by Buena Vista.

Then I rode past Turquoise Lake, and headed over Hagerman Pass............Now normally there aren't many roads that I wouldn't take the FJ on, but even I wouldn't attempt this one on the FJ.
This video is toward the top of the Pass, where it became a bit easier.
(I have another video of the much harder/rockier section if anyone wants to see it?)

Some pictures from the Day.
Enjoy.

Tuned forks

Allan, those roads are even gnarlier than what Travis posts.  Similar beautiful mountain scenery as the Sierras though.  Plus, you've got all that railroad and mining history to explore.  Colorado is on my bucket list.

That wasn't even the gnarly section................On "small bikes" this is probably a lot easier, but on a 600-lb machine it gets your heart pumping pretty good.
The GoPro doesn't really portray how steep it is either.

Yes..............there are usually spots that never melt, here and there.
We'll be getting snow very soon!
I'm sure it's the same over by you.............
