So, if there is not any good riding, that defeats the purpose.
Also... Burney Resort is alcohol free. Basic DQ I think. Frank

Getting something this side of San Francisco +- works for me. I liked Coloma and Coleville too. No Hayfork for me.

Riders, Oh hum, so if nothing gets decided or organized, because let’s face it, we all lead super busy lives and it is a challenge to coordinate middle aged men on motorcycles; the WCR could always be held here in Napa at short notice. The Pros: Yes we have some great roads It’s cheap, actually free. We can accommodate about a dozen folks fairly comfortably with a mixture of room/couch/tent. Any more and you’d have to be getting cuddly with one another. Bike parking in a garage. We have two friendly cats for you play with.
Cons: I know that not everyone loves camping as much as I do. (Napa hotel prices might get you more enthusiastic about a tent). Monkey Mark wouldn’t be able to thermite a fire, but we have a suburban fire pit ready to go.

this just for thoughts on the location of the rallies --- For me its more about seeing everyone at least once a year -- the riding and new roads are all good and that is what is part of the fun but number one for myself is the get- together and catching up ( the latter is what I have to do anyways when I ride with the group )
So based on the above I would like to suggest a rotation of the top three places --- that everyone can agree on based on our history. This way we can still keep it fresh but we also will know where its at every year. That being said if someone in their travels comes up with a great spot we can always fit it in. Point is once established it can save a lot of time on the decision making process.
For myself -- 1. Willets KOA 2. Coloma 3. Petaluma (for num 3 although I know that is out this year I found the town to be cool even though the roads are similar to Willits )
I organize a similar event that happens every year and well I don't have much choice of its location as it involves water so its the same every year but what I have found it more about the comradery and getting together just to ride and have a good time.

Considering the time left to secure a location, let alone agree on one, we might need to take Andy up on his offer.
The rotating venue has some merit, and if a good alternative is found in time for that year, could always be selected.

Hayfork should be included in the rotation. The roads, the ranch, food, etc. Good times.

I sent an email to one of my original venue suggestions, Angel's Camp RV & Camping Resort, which looks like a very nice place, with the right variety of cabins, campsites and RV slots. If they're available the weekend after Memorial Day (May 28-Jun 1), I think we should give it a try.

Do you think 5 cabins and 2 lodges will be enough? I absolutely love the location.

Do you think 5 cabins and 2 lodges will be enough? I absolutely love the location. Each cabin apparently can sleep up to four, and the lodges will sleep six each, so we're looking at space for 32 before we look at RV spaces or campsites... What I particularly like is the close proximity of the cabins, lodges and campsites. We normally wind up with a few people in distant spots.

Welp, they replied:
Good morning,
Thank you so much for your interest in our resort. We are absolutely happy to have you, however we have another group booked for that weekend and they have all of the cabins and lodges except for our two bedroom apartment which sleeps up to six. Additionally, we have a group occupying all of our tent camping the night of the 28th. Our tents will be open from the 29th on and w are completely open for RV camping, if there's any working around the other reservations we're happy to help accommodate.
Here's what we have available and the pricing:
5/28 only we have 2 one room cabins that sleep up to four for $86.24 per night and they will be available again on 5/31. 5/28 only we have 2 lodges that sleep up to six for $155.69 per night and they will be available again on 5/31. 5/28-6/1 we have our fully furnished two bedroom apartment available for $184.80 and $211 on the weekend. AAA and Good Sam save 10% per night, also.
I hope this is somewhat helpful, if you've got any questions feel free to reach out and we're happy to help.
Thank you,
Julianna Hill Angels Camp RV Resort 209-736-0404 angelscamprv.com
So, it looks like I was too late. I'll certainly follow up with a request for info about when to contact them about 2021.
