... you're trundling quietly along to work on your trusty FJ, within the legal limit and some dickhead in a cage, or in this case twathead in a cage, pulls alongside at the lights and abuses the hell out ot you and says they are going to report you for something or other. I was being a very good rider not tailgating, not speeding, behind some halfwitted blonde bimbo in her Honda Civic this morning while she adjusted her hair, finished her makeup etc. I came up quite close behind as we went round a small roundabout, if I'd gone any slower I would have fallen over (again). Up the next hill still reasonably close but at a perfectly safe distance, when she slammed on the brakes and had the window down screaming at me as I zoomed past not wishing to stop. All quite legal, no yellow centre line, barely broke the speed limit 50kmh, no on-coming traffic. The next moment she's blasting up behind me and round the next roundabout (think intersection with a small white bump in the middle) trying to pull alongside still screaming at me. At the traffic lights, I stop in the right turn lane, she comes alongside in the left lane, stops and shrieks at me some more and ends with the only bit I could actually understand, "I'm going to report you!" WTF? I thought. She had already driven through a school zone ahead of me at well over the 50kmh limit because she left me behind, she had not stopped at the stop sign at the end of my street. Maybe she thought I was a cop when I came up behind her in my white skidlid and yellow safety vest and when she realised I wasn't, she got P'd Off. I have spent the day racking my brains as to what she thinks I did. Chances are I'll get a warning letter from the Federales re something that I will not have the right to reply to. You can dial 555 here and make traffic complaints or download a complaint form that you post to the police. It only covers stuff like tailgating, and dangerous passing manouvres. What a B.t.h. She has spoiled an otherwise lovely sunny day. Being a polite, well bred gentleman I didn't give her a mouthful but now wish I had. I think I will hunt her down and retaliate in some devious way as she obviously lives locally! She won't see it coming!

Ned - the nervous twinges are starting - I'd better take my medication before it gets dark! Bwah hahahaha!

Those people always make me laugh.  I always tell them to make sure they get my plates right, I'd hate to see the wrong person bothered.  I figure if the cops come chat with me about a questionable pass or the like, I'll point out that the car was crossing the centerline, driving erratically, etc.

Though I did scare the piss out of some chick yesterday who was driving agressively.  One joy of driving the cage, a well placed foot on the brake can wake up other drivers without putting yourself in much danger.

Yep! I took the dawg for a walk around the block last night and low and behold there was the car in a drive way just a few hundred metres around the corner from me. I am currently working on the concept of forward and rearward rocket launchers (007 style) or a rear mounted oil sprayer. We're not allowed to carry guns but I haven't seen anything about rocket launchers...     If I'm caught I'll just act dumb - that comes naturally!
