A few electrical gremlins have creeped up and need to be dealt with before the rally. I have spent A lot of time getting the General's 89 rally ready that I had not gotten to mine.  :pardon:

Repaired non working auxiliary lights
Repaired non working horn
Repaired non working USB power port
Install the RC51 front brake master cylinder
Install the oil temp sending unit
Wire the Speed Hut oil temp gauge
Install and wire the saddlebags turn signal lights.

The non working electricals was not caused by the fire.

The USB power port had a bad ground at the molded pig tail.
The horn and auxiliary lights share a power wire and the wire was broken at a connector that I installed.

Jeez louise Fred, I thought my bike was torn down.  Yours is nekked.

I'm also getting the last little elec bits done.  Ordered a SAE to micro USB adapter for my tank bag.  Randy and Robert have been very helpful and the UPS man has been very busy shuttling parts back and forth between SF and RPM.

Got almost everything finished.  :yahoo:

All that is left is to clean, lube and adjust the chain, let the RTV set up on the front fender extender and put the lower cowl on.

Nice looking work Fred.  Neat shop too.  Can you post a closeup of your fender extender?

The first photo is an old photo of my 89 with a fender extender on an OEM FJ fender. The current FJ has a GSX-R1000 fender that is very short. The fender extender actually only makes it about as long as a stock FJ fender.
