Hi. I'm new to this site but I'm reading this forum for a few months. I have an oil leak on the left side of the engine. Yesterday I took the alternator off and the starter. The bottom of alternator was cover with oil and the left side of the pan. I found out that the seal started to disintegrating and the o-ring I think was the wrong one.It was a blue and 2.4 mm. The bike was running fine but I'm going to change the alternator o-ring,seal,starter o-ring,clutch slave seal, shift lever seal, neutral switch o-ring,for the piece of mind. I found a company in Europe that sells the o-ring for the 1986.I'll post the results. Thanks again.

I'm buying most of the parts from R.P.M but this alternator o-ring,nobody has it. Yamaha discontinued this part.
