I have a question for those who are riding in from significant distances.

I know the first year the ride was pretty ambitious as far as miles & time and a several elected to cut it short. It was pretty hot that year as well.

I would like to know what you guys think. Do we need a bigger ride than last year or shorter or...

I know guys are riding many miles to attend on Friday, ride the group ride on Saturday and then turn around and head home for significant miles on Sunday.

You guys let me know.

Randy- RPM

Last year was about perfect.

I, unfortunately, need to move into hoping. I have started second job recently, and need to request the time off, and dont know if they will give it to me.

Also i liked the length of ride last time, i'd be up for a little longer but didnt feel it was lacking at all last year. Anything more than 300 miles and my shoulder starts hurting

A little off topic but for those that use blue tooth communication in their helmets, what brand do you use?

I use an older model Sena 10S. I have a Sena SMH10 for my daughter's helmet when she rides with me. Communications between the two work very well. The 10S has a phone jack that allows me to connect my Plugfones with a phone jack in be mounting base.

Sena 20s.

I use noise cancelling ear buds instead of helmet speakers (as I always ride with ear plugs when not using my intercom) The Sena is renowned for having some of the best speakers in the business but I still struggled to hear through ear plugs, hence the ear buds. The unit comes with a jack to plug them in.

The market is flooded these days with cheap feature laden bluetooth intercoms and I often wonder if for a fraction of the price, they would do the job. They have become so cheap I'm almost prepared to take the punt and throw them away if no good.

If anyone out there has tried these new cheap intercoms in the last year or so, speak up (), it would be great to get some feedback.

Hey guys, I'm sorry to say but I have to pass on this shindig. I have a family obligation for that weekend.
I'll check to see if Paul (Carson City Paul) is coming over the mountain for the rally.
Travis, got your PM's but I wanted to wait until I knew for sure.

No FJ Rallies for Father Pat in 2019.

I am wondering if in respect of this bad news if we should cancel the RPM Fall Rally... :bomb:

Yea, this turned out not to be a good year for me....oh well...
I am worried about the compounded interest I'll owe on the Blue Moon debt.
