I can recommend Sneaky Pete's in Le Claire as a good chow stop for this ride... great steaks!

Where is your starting point?
I'd be up for putting some miles on for some sight seeing and steaks!

Plan?  What is this plan stuff?  Normal starting point is Dekalb, but I run through any number of directions getting there, often along 20 west of Freeport, but the observation tower is closed for rennovation as of late.

Funny you guys bring up RAGBRAI, as it is scheduled to pass through my home town of Rockford this year!

Sorry about he "PLAN", but if ther is great distances involved, a vlittle planning would have to be done, at least for!

I did RAGBRAI in '94 and '97, and I'm pretty sure we went through Rockford one of those two times.  There was a LOT of drinking so I can not be 100% sure.
