To OP, if you do a Google search you will find there are businesses that do post forwarding from the states. Even our Australia Post has such a service.

.....I use a forwarding house in the US, so I have a US mailing address, they are very common.

Australia Post's attempt to get in on the act however was typically "public service" and a cock up from start to finish. Take a business model fine honed to perfection by private enterprise and apply public service management to it.......

Thanks all... yes... I have been looking around for a courier service as I have purchased one in the UK... but Im still trusting a stranger to tell me what size the package is and the weight.

Anyone in the UK who is willing to help out as a shipping buddy?

Hi all...
Sorry... I should have closed this conversation off here... I did on the "parts wanted" thread... my bad... 
All ended up well... I bought the upper fairing from the UK via eBay and the seller was AMAZING!!!! He helped me out and did lots of legwork for me so for that I was very grateful...
Ended up 140 pounds including shipping to my door. Gotta be happy with that!!
