Was looking to replace all the hydralic hoses on my bike (there are 8 hoses alltogether-not counting the clutch), priced them from yamaha and about fell down!  :shok: Almost $400.00 and thats with my 20 % discount. Damm! On the other hand I hate the thought of having to go thru the hassel of having all 8 hoses custom made and then having to ziptie them in place, hate seeing zipties everywhere - and I'm not sure it would be any cheaper. Not sure what I'm going to do. I guess I need to bite the bullet and pay the price.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggustions? Maby throw away the ABS, that would eliminate about half the hoses.

Replace them with Stainless Steel Braided hoses.  Will cost no more, and possibly less.  You should be able to get them from most hydraulic hose shops custom made fairly cheaply.  Alternatevly Galfer, and others make custom or sets of these in various hose and banjo colors.
