I can't wait til summers over, sick and tired of 37° days, then we can really enjoy the ride..
:i_am_so_happy:
It was only 25° today and I'm enjoying the freshness but it's raining.
Quick check of the surf and it looks inviting..

Cheers

Every time I see photos like this, or hear about temperatures like what you guys have, I remember why I live where I do. Three months of hellish temps, but 9 months of beautiful temperate weather. Sorry for the poor weather, y'all should just come visit me!

Love to! I believe there have been a few songs about where you live. Must be nice.

Most of the winter the roads are pretty clear if you stay off the mountains. Bundling up down to about 15 degrees is pretty comfortable especially with heated handgrips. Id love to do some early spring riding in az as long as thats not monsoon season haha

Nah, monsoon season is in the summer and fall. Usually July through late August, early September. I would love to come get some mountain riding in with you guys around that time though!

The monsoons in Phoenix are awesome light shows. Till it gets too close. But I have fond memories of the rain bringing in the rich desert smells, thunder and lightning, rain dumping like it was poured from a bucket. And it is still 70F outside. And the pea sized hail thick as snow cover sometimes. Don't make him miss all the fun.

Perfectly put Monkey!! Watching the monsoons are amazing in its own right, as well as watching the walls of dust blow in. Until its hits you, then it kind of sucks haha. But there is definitely something to be said for the way a family comes together when you aren't sure if you are going to have a roof in the next 20 minutes. A few years ago, we had a microburst hit less than a block away from us,and it tore the metal roof off of the warehouse down the street, and ended up tossing our large wooden playset over the fence into the neighbors yard. Good times!!  :good2:

It hit sixty degrees in Reno today all of the low snow is gone again.Ian and I took the Mt. Rose highway to Tahoe. It was a little soon we ran into a few sections of road still covered with snow but the road was mostly just wet.It was almost forty degrees on top at 9,000 ft.There is a lot of California's drinking water still piled up along the road.

Nice!

I had the strange experience of dodging thunderstorms in LA a couple of weeks ago. I've never seen the place look as green.

I just arrived back home last night and bought the rain with me. No rain in over a month and here it is in bucket loads.

Nice to see all that drinking water ready to chill those reservoirs.
